Acne scars can be eliminated via a surgery, such as laser surgery. This is something that has to be suggested by your dermatologist though. Basically, they use a gentle laser and go over the scars. Through repeated treatments, you will start to see these scars diminish and go away for long periods of time.
Putting lemon juice onto a cotton-wool ball or cotton swab and applying the juice directly onto an acne scar or pimple can be a great natural acne remedy. The citric acid dries out pimples and lightens red marks and scars. For sensitive skin, try diluting the lemon juice with water or honey before applying.
A helpful technique for battling acne is to make a conscious effort to keep your hands away from all areas of the face. Excessive touching of the facial area can disperse acne-causing bacteria across the surface of the skin, and can serve to further exacerbate existing inflammation. It is never wise to intentionally burst pimples with your fingertips, because scars are likely to result.
Just like with bleaching your hair in the sun, putting lemon juice on your skin can lighten the redness associated with acne, and help to lighten the old scars left behind as well. Just dab some on your breakouts with a cotton swab. Be careful that you don’t overdue it as some people say that it can sting and burn a bit.
Never touch your face, or pick at a pimple. In general, keep your hands away from your face as much as possible. Popping and picking at acne, can lead to damaging and permanent scars. Use clean wash cloths or sterile cotton balls, instead of your fingers, when applying cleanser.
You can treat acne scars on your face with a mild bleaching cream, many of which are available over the counter at a local pharmacy. These creams take time to work, some as long as a couple of months, but if you stick with them the results are very much worth it. Once the scars are gone, you’ll be able to see how much they detracted from the look of your skin.
Acne is something that most people experience at one point in their lives be it during their teen years or during their adult life. Regardless, it is a frustrating state of affairs. Aside from using a mild face wash daily, visiting a dermatologist is important. Acne is much more than pimples and zits, it is embarrassment and scars. A dermatologist will give someone the right medications and/or guidance to help treat the problem.
Do not pick at or squeeze blackheads, instead use a special blackhead cleaner and wash your face often. This will keep you from getting scars and help clear the blackheads in the long run. There are many different brands of blackhead cleaning products available that will make your skin look its very best.
If you have acne, it is especially important to keep your skin clean. Washing removes impurities, dead skin cells, and excess oil. Use a mild facial cleanser and warm water. There’s no need to harshly scrub as this can lead to scars. Wash twice a day to keep your skin clean and fresh

A tiny bit of neosporin has always helped me with breakouts. Just a very small amount before bed.
Once I started with DETOX Skin Intervention scrubs and soaps the Dead Sea salt helped a lot to help kill that bacteria.
HELP! Huge pimple no white head. Products have turned it dark but its still huge. What 2 do?
The tricky part about acne is that the pblroem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That’s because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin’s Sebum (oil) production. This results in you guessed it more acne.So what’s the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won’t shock your body into more breakouts. Here’s what I recommend:- Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.- For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.- Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.- Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.- Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.- If acne medication isn’t working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.- One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an oatmeal mask . The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.- Lemon juice also dries up pimples and kills any bacteria in the infection. For more great remedies, check out the Source link Below.Best of Luck!
great tips!
I had TERRIBLE acne. Honestly, i was so insecure about it and NOTHING would work. But then i went to my dtocor and he sent me to a dermatologist. They prescribed me a pill called roaccutane’. It worked AMAZINGLY. But be aware, it can cause side-effects. But, seriously, its worth it =]
Good advices!
changing your pillow cases often helps me.
Many skin conditions start in the gut. Try taking a good prebiotic/probiotic daily. This has greatly helped my son and many of my clients.
As a nurse working in a skin care clinic, I’ve seen a lot of people who deal with acne problems. One of the most heart breaking things I’ve seen is watching teens come in who struggle with acne. Most of them deal with pretty serious self esteem issues with their acne and it almost always causes barriers for them in their social life. So far hands down the best thing I have seen work is the clarisonic cleaning system. This is such a good solution for teens because it’s natural with no side effects. Most of our young people who use it regularly have very good improvement in their skin condition.
Thanks for share you experience with us!
Very infromative … I will be trying these out on a couple of beauty treatments

Ive been acne free for almost 8 months( except the occasional pimple dat goes away in like a day) i dunno if i shud stop d treatment, shud i always keep using dis?
I am thinking of getting laser resurfacing for acne scars and would like to hear from other people who’ve done it: who’s a good doctor, how happy are you with it, what are the side effects, etc.. I’ve read a lot of info but want to hear from those who’ve actually DONE IT. Or if you’ve had another procedure (like microdermabrasion or peeling) please let me know if you think it works. Thanks. Someone on the other forum told about Scar Control from ForcesOfNature. Anyone tried? please share.
I have tried applying Baking Soda Face Mask. Based on the result, it has lightened my acne scars. I’d better keep on doing this on a daily basis to fade the scar completely. Vitamin E is really proven to be effective in lightening the acne scars. I can attest to that because I myself applies it whenever I see some scars due to acne. I have recently started a new, yet all natural regimen. I exfoliate with a baking soda mask 1-2 times a day, I leave it on for about four minutes, while I brush my teeth and floss. Second, I use witch hazel as an astringent. I’ve read that this is good for the skin and helps with acne. Finally, I use a super small amount of natural shea butter to moisturize. This is great because shea butter is a natural sunscreen. I live in Florida and spend a good amount of time on the beach. I’ve noticed a different in my skin and acne scars already. I like the organic lemon juice idea, I may switch to that once I finish this bottle of witch hazel. I hope this helps.
